A Councilmember You Can Count On
Endorsed by the Santa Clara County Democratic Party

My name is Anthony Tordillos and I’m running to be your next District 3 Councilmember! I love San José and I believe that with the right leadership we can make our city safer, more affordable, and more vibrant for all our residents. City Hall insiders have had their shot. But housing is still too expensive, too many folks are living on the streets, and too many small businesses are struggling to survive. I’m in this race because I’m tired of the excuses, special interests, and same old battles that are getting us nowhere. I will bring a fresh approach to District 3 and tackle public safety head-on, combat our affordability and homelessness crises, and end the excuses. With my public policy expertise, direct experience on the dais, and history of neighborhood service, I am ready on Day 1 to bring innovative ideas, data-driven solutions, and increased accountability to City Hall. I hope you'll join me in my campaign for a safer, more affordable, and more vibrant San José for all.

As your next City Councilmember, I will work for our residents, not City Hall special interests. That’s why I’m proud to be the only candidate rejecting corporate PAC and lobbyist money. I will fight for a San José that has abundant housing at every affordability level so that all our residents can afford to live in the city they love. I will take a holistic approach to the homelessness crisis by combining immediate action to shelter our unhoused neighbors with long term investments in affordable housing to provide lasting security. I will fight to ensure that our residents feel safe, both in their own homes and when visiting downtown. I will fight for our business owners, and for our aspiring business owners, to fill our empty storefronts and for vibrant streets that are free of blight. And I will fight to empower our strong neighborhoods to build community and have their voices heard. Let’s get to work!
